About Saunakontor

Saunakontor is an online shop for saunas and inflatable hot tubs. It is a trading brand of LDACO Automotive GmbH, a company registered in Germany. We sell online only and we ship to the United Kingdom from Germany, so UK import VAT and any customs duty are payable by you on delivery. This is explained under Delivering to the United Kingdom below.

Who we are

The shop is operated by LDACO Automotive GmbH, registered at An der Kirche 28, 96197 Wonsees, Germany, and entered in the commercial register of the Amtsgericht Bayreuth under HRB 6554. Saunakontor is the trading name we use for this shop. We are not a UK company and we have no UK branch, showroom or collection point. Orders are placed online and dispatched to you from Germany.

What we sell

Our catalogue currently lists 92 products, in two main groups.

Saunas. Complete sauna cabins rather than parts:

• indoor saunas
• outdoor and garden saunas
• barrel saunas
• sauna houses
• infrared cabins

All of the saunas we sell are electrically heated.

Inflatable hot tubs and whirlpools. Portable inflatable spas, including Bestway Lay-Z-Spa and MSpa models.

Brands stocked include Karibu, Artsauna, Bestway and MSpa. The brands we carry can change as the range changes; the brand of each item is shown on its product page.

We are broadening the range into general outdoor and garden living, so the catalogue will grow beyond saunas and hot tubs over time.

Prices currently run from roughly EUR 174 to about EUR 6,000, depending on the product. The shop prices in euro (EUR); pound sterling is not yet available.

How we work

Product information

Product pages set out the specifications of the item, so that you can check what you are ordering before you buy. If a detail you need is not shown on the page, please ask us rather than assuming it.

Free DHL delivery

Delivery to the United Kingdom is free with DHL, with no minimum order value. We allow 1-2 business days to prepare an order and 2-4 business days in transit, so 3-6 business days in total. A tracking link is emailed to you when your order is dispatched.

Free delivery covers the carriage only. UK import VAT and any customs duty are payable separately by you, as set out under Delivering to the United Kingdom below.

14-day free returns

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you 14 days from the day you receive the goods to cancel your order. On top of that statutory right we grant a voluntary 14-day return right on the same terms, so that you can also return goods you have simply changed your mind about.

Returns are free. A prepaid return label is included in every parcel, and we will email you a replacement label free of charge if you need one. Returns go back to LDACO Automotive GmbH, An der Kirche 28, 96197 Wonsees, Germany. There is no restocking or handling fee, and we offer exchanges. Once a return has arrived and been checked, we refund to your original payment method within 5 business days. The full terms are set out in our returns policy.

Your rights if goods arrive damaged, faulty or not as described are separate from cancellation. If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, those rights come from the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and nothing on this page limits them.

Payment

You can pay by Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Delivering to the United Kingdom

Orders for UK addresses are dispatched from our address in Germany. The United Kingdom is outside the EU customs union, so your order is an import.

Consignments are delivered on a delivery-duty-unpaid basis. UK import VAT, and any customs duty, are payable by you, the recipient, to the carrier before or on delivery. These charges are not included in the product price and are not covered by our free shipping. They are collected by the carrier, not by us. Please take this into account before you order.

The prices shown in the shop do not include UK import VAT or customs duty.

We do not offer installation, assembly or in-person collection. Goods are delivered to the address you give us.
