Can I still change my delivery address after placing an order?
You can change the delivery address within 12 hours of placing your order, provided the parcel has not yet been dispatched. Please email us as early as possible at Kontakt@ldacoautomotive.de and quote your order number.
Once the parcel is on its way we can no longer change the address. You can then return the goods under your right of cancellation.
How much does delivery cost?
Nothing. Delivery to the United Kingdom is free on every order. There is no minimum order value.
Please note that UK import VAT and any customs duty are payable by the recipient to the carrier. They are not included in the product price and are not covered by the free shipping, and DHL may add its own clearance fee.
How long does delivery take?
Once your payment has been received we process your order and hand it over to DHL:
- Handling: 1–2 business days
- Transit with DHL: 2–4 business days
- Total delivery time: 3–6 business days
These times apply to deliveries to the United Kingdom.
Which carrier do you ship with, and how do I track my parcel?
We ship with DHL. As soon as your order has left our warehouse you will receive a dispatch confirmation by email with a tracking link.
My order arrived damaged or faulty. What can I do?
Please check the shipment as soon as it arrives. Report any transport damage or faulty goods to us within 14 days of receipt by email to Kontakt@ldacoautomotive.de. Photos of the packaging and of the goods, along with your order number, are helpful.
This period is a request so that we can settle the matter quickly. Your statutory rights are not affected by it.
How long can I return an item, and how do I send it back?
You have a 14-day right of return from the day you receive the goods. Your statutory 14-day right of cancellation is not affected by this; to cancel, a clear statement to us is enough – for example an email to Kontakt@ldacoautomotive.de.
A prepaid returns label is enclosed with every parcel. Stick it on the parcel and hand it in at a DHL drop-off point – returns cost you nothing. If a label is ever missing, we will email you one free of charge on request.
When will I get my money back, and can I exchange an item?
We refund you within 5 business days of your return reaching us and being checked, to the payment method you originally used. We do not charge a handling or restocking fee.
An exchange is possible. Tell us within the return period which item you would like instead; we will send the item you want once your return has arrived.
Do I need a qualified electrician for a sauna?
All the saunas we offer are electrically heated. Sauna heaters of more than 3.6 kW usually need a 400 V (three-phase) connection. That connection must be made by a qualified electrician, and the same applies to connecting the heater and the control unit. Smaller plug-and-play heaters run from an ordinary 230 V socket.
What counts is the information on the relevant product page and in the manufacturer's instructions. Before you buy, please check that the connection required is available at the installation site or can be provided.
Does a garden sauna need a foundation?
Yes. A garden sauna, barrel sauna or sauna house needs a firm, level, load-bearing base that permanently carries the weight of the assembled sauna and separates the cabin from the ground. Typical options are a level concrete surface, a paved area or a pad foundation with a level bearing surface.
For the binding requirements for the ground and the foundation, please refer to the manufacturer's assembly instructions for the model concerned.
What kind of ground does an inflatable hot tub need?
The standing area must be level, clean and load-bearing. Once it is filled and people are in it, an inflatable hot tub quickly comes to more than a tonne in weight – soft, uneven or yielding ground is therefore not suitable.
To run it you need an earthed mains socket protected by a residual current device (RCD). The binding requirements for the installation site and the electrical supply are set out in the manufacturer's instructions.
Can I use an inflatable hot tub in winter?
That depends on the model. Some inflatable hot tubs are designed for year-round use, others expressly are not. Whether a model is suitable for use at low outdoor temperatures is stated on the relevant product page and in the manufacturer's operating instructions. Please follow that information.
If the hot tub is not used outside the season, it should be drained completely, dried and stored somewhere frost-free. Frost can damage water-carrying parts.
How long does assembly take?
An inflatable hot tub is set up and inflated in about half an hour without any tools; heating the water then takes additional time.
A sauna cabin takes considerably longer, depending on the model and size, and you should plan for at least two people. What counts is the manufacturer's assembly instructions enclosed with the goods. We do not offer an assembly, fitting or installation service.
